Professional Review

Your favorite penguin has learned to fly so perfectly well in previous chapters of the game that his next big goal is flying to the moon. With a wide range of customization abilities and lots of additional features to download, Learn to Fly 3 never gets boring. Don’t miss out on the cutest indie action game ever.

Graphics 3.5/5

Learn to Fly is another part of the series of flash games about penguins. It launches smoothly on modern PCs and has no graphics bugs whatsoever. There isn’t anything about these graphics reminding you of up-to-date technology, but before getting to Steam, this game used to be a nice online amusement. That said, graphics are simple and cute, and you won’t need more from a free game of this particular genre.

Gameplay 4.5/5

The goal of your penguin is the moon. Every day you will have to gather every available material to launch yourself and get paid based on your progress. The cash you get you can spend on the new additions to make a better penguin spaceship and fly higher and further. Experiments with different components, their weight, and size are welcome. Besides practical items and bonuses, there’s a high number of aesthetic features to unlock that diversify your game and make the whole experience even more lovely.

Learn to Fly 3 is more fun than its previous chapters because of its customization qualities and funny aerodynamics. You're free to try out a spaceship, a UFO or even an ejector seat as your spacecraft. Every choice you make affects the effectiveness and the quality of your flight. Some of the items are for purchase, but the investments won’t affect the gameplay generally. You will get the same things playing a free game, just not in such a short time. There’s also a sandbox mode where you moderate all the factors the way you like. The game is peculiarly long for an indie genre, but with its sheer humor and prettiness, it will keep your attention.

Controls 4/5

The interface and explainability are user-friendly, and of high quality, you get sucked into the game very shortly after you begin and can spend the whole night on it. The main keys are left and right arrows, but you can also buy the ability to control the flight of your penguin with the computer mouse. Every level is the flight that has to last long enough for you to gather bonuses and cash on different upgrades. All you do is control the penguin’s flight and destroy obstacles on its way.

Replay Value 2/5

When you finally get to the moon, why getting there again? Any Learn to Fly 3 review will convince you that there is no sense in replaying. If you want to try any features or spacecraft you haven’t been able to try during the game, there’s a sandbox mode, and we hardly see any other reason to start again. Flying penguin fans may want to repeat the game level by level, but replay value for other players is low.

Conclusion

Learn to Fly 3 is the ultimate game of the Learn to Fly series. Its humor is brilliant, it never gets too easy or too hard, and you don’t have to pay additional money to end it properly. The colors are nice, and the simple-but-sweet graphics fit well to your penguin mission. Unlike many other flash games, this one gets to keep it aesthetical, and gameplaying features peculiarly fresh and entertaining throughout all of its levels.

Conclusion
